Breakthrough T1D
One of the primary charitable organizations supported by The Carroll Companies is Breakthrough T1D, the leading global organization dedicated to funding research, advocacy, and support for those living with type 1 diabetes. Founded in 1970 by parents determined to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure, Breakthrough T1D serves the nearly 3 million people in the United States living with the disease.
For more than a decade, supporting Breakthrough T1D has become a proud tradition across The Carroll Companies. Each year, employees, family members, and friends come together to participate in fundraising initiatives and the annual Walk for the Cure, demonstrating our collective commitment to making a difference.

Learn to Swim
The Carroll Companies is proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of the Greensboro Aquatic Center's Learn to Swim Program for four consecutive years. Developed in partnership with Guilford County Schools, the curriculum-based program has helped thousands of students develop essential water safety skills since its launch in 2011.
Swimming is more than recreation; it is a lifesaving skill. Through this partnership, students gain confidence in the water, learn healthy lifestyle habits, and are introduced to opportunities that encourage lifelong physical activity. By investing in this program, The Carroll Companies is helping create safer communities while empowering children with skills that can last a lifetime.

Corks for Kids PATH
For 19 consecutive years, Bee Safe Storage and Wine Cellar has proudly served as the presenting sponsor of Corks for Kids PATH, one of the Triad's premier charitable fundraising events. Benefiting AuthoraCare Collective, Corks for Kids PATH provides critical funding for pediatric hospice care and grief support services for medically fragile children and families navigating the loss of a loved one.
The event brings together community leaders, businesses, and supporters who share a commitment to providing compassionate care during life's most challenging moments. The Carroll Companies is honored to help sustain this important tradition and support the invaluable services that AuthoraCare Collective provides throughout our community.

Hurricane Helene relief and recovery
Samaritan's Purse
Following the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene across western North Carolina, The Carroll Family Foundation and The Carroll Companies committed $1 million to support relief and recovery efforts through Samaritan's Purse.
Beyond the financial contribution, The Carroll Companies mobilized quickly to provide essential resources to affected communities, delivering generators, Starlink communication systems, and bottled water to the Boone area. These efforts helped restore emergency communications for the Boone Police Department during a critical time.
With multiple residential communities throughout western North Carolina, The Carroll Companies remain deeply committed to supporting the people and communities we call home, especially in times of greatest need.

Child safety and community education
Safety Town
Bee Safe Storage is proud to support Safety Town, a long-standing Greensboro program dedicated to helping children build the skills they need to stay safe every day. For more than 39 years, Safety Town has provided children ages 5–6 with hands-on, interactive lessons covering essential topics such as stranger awareness, traffic and pedestrian safety, fire safety, bicycle and bus safety, water safety, poison prevention, and gun safety.
As part of the Safety Town experience, Bee Safe Storage sponsors a miniature storage facility where children can learn about safety in a familiar, engaging environment. Through this partnership, Bee Safe Storage and The Carroll Companies are helping invest in the safety and well-being of Greensboro's youngest residents.
Supported by community partners including the Greensboro Police Department and the Nat Greene Kiwanis Club, Safety Town is fully accredited by the National Safety Town Center and serves as a model for similar programs across the country. Through hands-on education and community collaboration, the program continues to make a lasting impact by helping children develop lifelong safety habits.

Supporting Our First Responders
The Carroll Companies and Bee Safe Storage are proud to sponsor the Wyndham Championship's First Responder Program, a partnership we have supported for several years.
Through the program, first responders and a guest receive complimentary access to the Wyndham Championship for the duration of the tournament, typically five days. This sponsorship provides an opportunity for first responders to enjoy the championship while recognizing and thanking them for their dedication and service to our communities.
